In short: Sudoku Dojo collects no personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you do in the app stays on your devices and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account.

Data stored on your device

Your games, statistics, settings and technique progress are stored only on your device. Your hint credit balance is stored in your device's keychain so it survives reinstalling the app. None of this is sent to us.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, the app keeps your credit history in iCloud key-value storage so your credits are the same on all your devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account by Apple and is not accessible to us. It contains only credit amounts, anonymous purchase transaction numbers, dates of free daily credits and random device identifiers – no names, email addresses or other personal information. In-app purchases

Credit packs are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your name, payment details or Apple ID. The app only receives an anonymous transaction number to credit the purchase once.

Crash reports

If you have agreed to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. You can change this at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

This website

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit it, Netlify processes technical data such as your IP address in server logs to deliver the pages and keep them secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website uses no cookies and no analytics.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As we store no personal data about you, there is usually nothing to disclose or delete; app data can be removed by deleting the app, and iCloud data in the Settings app under your Apple ID → iCloud. We will update this policy if the app's handling of data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
